Hoffmann Hospice Home, Kern County's first and only freestanding hospice home, welcomes guests
with home-like charm.
The chapel features a locally made, hand-crafted stained glass window with a river symbolic of the natural process of life. This chapel allows Hoffmann Hospice to host "Celebrations of Life" including weddings, baptisms and memorial services, along with private reflection for families.
The "Walk of Hope" is a special pathway that encompasses all three wings and 18 patient suites at the hospice home. It features 32 granite pavers inscribed with various scripture and uplifting words from donors to offer hope and encouragement to families staying at the home.
The Hoffmann Hospice Home includes 18 private patient suites available to eligible patients and families. Each patient suite includes: a state-of-the-art bed, access to medical gasses, a private restroom, pull-out sofa and French doors that lead to a patio.
There's no greater comfort of home than a home-cooked meal. Meals are prepared three times a day and are available to patients, families and staff from the Family Dining Room.
The Nurse Station is the central hub for clinical care at the Hoffmann Hospice Home. The nurse call-system allows clinical staff to respond promptly anytime a patient has a need. Pharmacy, charting room and meal prep are also housed within the Nurse Station.
